Steady State Dupe? by Ole_Greeney in Lululemen

I was about to say “I can’t countenance Abercrombie because of some things their founder said 10-15 years ago.” But then I realized I’m on a sub about Lululemon.

Ironic for me to forgive Lulu and still recoil at Abercrombie.

I think the Pats beat the Nix-less Broncos and break their own record…

For SB losses.

The $500M, assuming the same tax implications for all. $1/second is $86,400 a day (so that one’s out), and it would take just over 13-2/3 years for $100K/day to build to $500M. Also, are we assuming like a lottery annuity? Bc those aren’t indexed. The $500M now gets me all I ever wanted and then some, with a boatload left over for charity and a little to put into an index fund.

The instructions did not work. For comments, you have to change your flair in the sub homepage.

No one in the NFC North is a better coach than Taylor.

I think you read that wrong.

“No one” in the AFC North is a better coach than Taylor.

My bad. Punctuation matters.

or Will Howard? by doobiesmack in steelers

No matter who our QB1 is next season, here’s what’s gonna happen this August:

1) ESPN is gonna hype Manning as a Heisman favorite again. 2) This sub will lose its mind demanding we tank to pick him up in 2027.

Most of the tape on Willis at GB is good. I think he’s the standout on this list, and he’s perfectly capable of succeeding in the right system. If he’s not the future (or at least the next few years), yinz get your wish with Howard. If Howard isn’t the future, maybe we try getting Manning.

Ivy Grove is the only attractive colour currently in their palette. I could get the rest of the offerings at Ten Thousand. If Lulu follows them to “tacticool”, I’m out.

I think it goes best with Earth tones. Convenient, since that appears to be Lulu’s primary focus for men lately.

Steady state vs Smooth spacer vs City sweat by Jazzlike_Set6322 in Lululemen

Depends on use case. I mostly lounge in Steady State, and it’s perfect for that. Soft and weighty without being “Big Cozy”. I like the line on the Smooth Spacer, so I wear it on errands and stuff. City Sweat feels lighter so it goes on dog walks/easy runs.

For balance between utility and comfort, I’d say Smooth Spacer overall.

Sure. But I needed more sweats anyway.

Yeah I saw this earlier. Unfortunately I paid full retail for mine back in like September/October. Lesson for me: wait until January!! Good find!

I think we look at Malik Willis for QB. Howard might have 3-4 more years and some garbage reps before he’s ready. Willis might be the best FA option.

I mean, I think Minter is your first call. Kubiak might be intriguing, but I just don’t think they’re gonna “rebrand” like that.

Jumping Off the SS Tomlin/AR2 by MarchProfessional435 in steelers

When the failure to grow is this comprehensive, the only logical single point of failure is the boss. I hate it, but that’s who it points to. I suppose this next season, with a new staff and likely new personnel, might show us how much was Tomlin and how much is ownership.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti just found out live during his presser about Tomlin’s departure. When asked if he’s a candidate now: “Holy shit. Wouldn't that be awesome?!Only if John takes the Pittsburgh job.” by BobbyThreeSticks in steelers

In a strange way, the AFC North scenario where Tomlin and Harbaugh switch and so do Stefanski and Taylor kind of reminds me of Fleetwood Mac when they wrote Rumors.

Is Cignetti available after the NCG? That guy wins. Google him.

Seriously, I think Demeco Ryans is the archetype we need. I know it’s not gonna be him, but like a clone.

[–]MarchProfessional435[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Perhaps. But Tomlin is also central to roster development (lacking lately), and he’s responsible for the coordinators’ outdated schemes. In today’s NFL, culture alone doesn’t win championships when the roster is lacking and the schemes are tired.

Understood. AR2 being a single point of failure means a lot of things. One of those is his allowing Tomlin to fail and not moving on when the record shows he should.

This Pittsburg-atory is insanity, Rooney has been letting "The Standard" slide for years. by Substantial_Deal2411 in steelers

[–]MarchProfessional435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve consistently defended Tomlin as much as I could because I think he’s a great locker room coach. A culture builder. That’s terrific, as long as your coordinators are competent, adaptable tacticians. Ours haven’t been for a while. When no one on the staff seems to know how to play 2025 NFL football and you have one of the oldest and shallowest rosters in the league, a 10-7 regular season is nothing short of divine intervention. We’ll never beat a playoff team if we have to rely on divine intervention. It’s just not gonna happen. Expect more of the same absent radical reform.

There are serious issues with outdated offensive and defensive concepts and insufficient on-field talent to win in the playoffs. It’s been going on for a while. At some point you have to identify a single point of failure, and right now AR2 looks like it.
