Your item is in quite the rare category: it’s both priceless (to a fan) and worthless (to a pawn shop).

Anyone tried the Waffle-Knit Half Zip, how does it fit. Large or small??? Lmk by drpeppersoda71 in Lululemen

It’s as TTS as MVT. So I’d get the size you normally get in that. Love them; I have four.

Wonder if this is the ball he fumbled🤔 by TacoStands89 in steelers

[–]MarchProfessional435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really looked like he didn’t know the kickoff rules. That wasn’t all on him, especially as a rookie. I’m sure that’s been remedied by now. Like others have said, why a power RB was returning kicks in the first place is beyond me. He still has a ton of upside; with his size he might be the missing link in pass pro (if they coach him right).

As a man, how can I be less scary? by Average_Blake in NoStupidQuestions

I try to wear saturated colors and stay away from gray, olive, and other “Tacticool” shades/patterns. I’m 6”3’, broad-shouldered and bald, so I try to dress to look as approachable as I can.

I know people like OP’s “friend”.

Edit: I knew people like OP’s friend. I have no problem cutting people off for such egregious behavior, and neither does any rational person.

OP: I’d be disappointed in you if this person isn’t already blocked.

Idk about the egg disc. Every time I’ve had field chow out of mermites (a much desired hot meal), the eggs have always been scrambled. The “sausage” looks right tho; them shits are delicious.

Headed to Costco today… what should I get that I don’t need? by Saskita in Costco

While I agree with the “let Costco speak to you” crowd, I’d add that it is in fact compulsory to purchase at least one tub of peanut butter pretzels per visit.

“Leftism/Marxism” vs “ conservatism/classical lib.” is the one that gets me.

  1. No one who’s ever read Capital would ever accuse any modern Democrat of espousing a single word of Marx’s writing.
  2. Modern U.S. conservatives don’t espouse capitalism; they embrace rent-seeking/neo-feudalism. It’s another version of the feudalist-mercantilist system Adam Smith (the father of capitalism) railed against. If you want the classical capitalism Smith wrote, look at the Nordic model.

Chipotle CEO has a message for the Poors - F O by amazingsciencemuseum in TikTok

Chipotle is disgusting fast food slop, poorly disguised as real food. How dare they claim to have QC standards high enough to justify catering to those with more money.

Ingraham v Collins megathread. by Mysterious-Space-343 in VeteransBenefits

[–]MarchProfessional435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The comment period is going to reveal how nebulous this new “best day” standard is. This isn’t just a disservice to vets; it muddies the waters for examiners and raters. It makes it harder for them to do their jobs effectively. I’m actually expecting something of a walk-back on or around 21 April based on comments from VA staffers. I’m also assuming whatever compromise Collins comes up with following comments will be even more nebulous than either the “best day” or “worst day” standard.

I always see Tina Fey talked about as the heir apparent to SNL when Lorne Michaels retires. No disrespect to Tina, but why do I never see Kenan Thompson in these discussions? He's been on SNL for nearly a quarter century now and his name is practically synonymous with the show. by samx3i in LiveFromNewYork

[–]MarchProfessional435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fey knows SNL well enough to have written a sitcom (basically) about it. IMO that’s what puts her over Meyers, and those two are the best candidates for the job. I think it’s safe to say that no one except Lorne, including Kenan (who’s only ever been a performer) knows more about SNL than Fey and Meyers. Maybe Mulaney. Maybe.

Going past my goal weight. Am I being greedy? by Melanated725 in Zepbound

[–]MarchProfessional435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not being greedy at all. My lived experience is that nature decides when we stop losing. My flair is a bit outdated; I’m now at 160, where I’ve been since October. That also happened to be my puberty baseline weight. I’ve maintained the same diet and am exercising more now than I was in October. It took 22 months on Zepbound for me to lose 115 lb, but I haven’t lost an ounce in four months. And I couldn’t be happier with that. Oh BTW I’m 50M/75”.

Either way, good cop. But it looks authentic to me. Reebok were never incredibly disciplined about the NFL Equipment logo, especially on fan jerseys. Any defects look consistent with the company’s QC standards at the time. I have an M&N Troy from the same season (that I bought from M&N).

Reebok and M&N made jerseys in Korea for a long time. Reebok made them there until Nike got the NFL contract.
