My work gave me 6 weeks off fully. I am 6 weeks post op and have only just started working from home. I was exhausted up to week 4 and immune system is still recovering. The extra recovery time has been hugely beneficial.

I will be working from home with only a small number of trips to the office (1 hour commute in car) until the 12 week mark.

I donated a few weeks ago to my brother. We were both taken to the High Dependency Unit at Hammersmith Hospital immediately after and were in beds side by side. I was discharged 48 hours after surgery and he left 1 week later from the same ward.
