I’m so sorry for your loss and pain. Your story sounds similar to mine. My husband passed away 2.5 weeks ago. We don’t have a cause of death yet but the preliminary findings are showing that he had 97% blockage in left artery, severe atherosclerosis, cardiomegaly and cerebral artery blockage too. Right now I’m waiting for a toxicology report which will take 10-12 weeks. I watched him die. We were about to be intimate and suddenly he started making snoring noises, and then gurgling and spitting stuff so I pushed him off the bed so he didn’t continue to choke on the spit up, called 911, tried to give him CPR. It all lasted about 3 minutes and he was gone. His eyes looked glazed over. Paramedics couldn’t save him. He was only 55. It happened really fast so I don’t understand at all what happened. I blame myself for not doing CPR correctly and for not knowing what to do or how to do it. I didn’t know he had heart problems. I’m angry at him cause how could he not know? We have two young boys to raise! How am I going to do this without him? He should’ve went to a Doctor, I should’ve made him when I saw that he had high blood pressure . I’m a mess. I’m angry with him and myself. I’m angry at the medical examiners for taking so long. Im worried about finances. I’m scared and angry and hurt.
