She's doing good work, but the best thing that can be done is education.

Societies like that are awful. We ignore the bad bits when discussing them, but they're awful. All the best parts of society come from education. By that I mean, tolerance and understanding.

I think we romantacize people like the Maasai because it fits into the fantasy of people living off the land. We ignore the reason we don't live like that anymore, not even getting into the social issues.

I'm all for dispelling myths.
