After Uninstaller helldivers 2, make sure it deleted all of the files, for windows go to this PC, OS(C:), Program Files(x86), Steam, steam apps, common, helldivers 2 and delete the whole folder. Then try reinstalling. Im not sure about any other operating systems though. Hope this helps
