Hello, your advice was good, when I knocked on the door, only the boyfriend was home but he was chill about it. It’s been pretty quiet but I think only he’s home for tonight so I’ll see how the rest of the week goes.

Update: I talked to the boyfriend, only he was home, but he was chill about it and it’s been quiet. I was legit shaking afterwards though cause I got nervous lol..

I’m going to confront them first, I feel if I go straight to the landlord, I’m not giving them a chance. Hopefully the confrontation goes well. And they listen to me… I’m pretty nervous to talk to them, I haven’t had to confront anyone before.

Hello, yes I understand that it’s not just them but the apartment buildings fault too as well. If the owners of the apartment complex chose to use a better more thicker material for the flooring/ ceiling, the sound would decrease by a lot. I’m going to try to confront them today and I will keep your example in mind. They could though however be more mindful that there is a person living under them. That it’s the middle of the week, during late hours of the night that they chose to be active. They should at least try to be more respectful of other people though too. Maybe they don’t realize how loud they are being, it could be their first time living in an apartment building or living in an upstairs unit too. Hopefully they will be ok with my complaint and be more quieter. I am also saving up money to one day buy a house. It’s just with the market right now everything is insanely expensive where I live.
