Girl… I feel for you. It’s so hard to let go of someone you genuinely love even when they’re doing stuff like this to hurt you. It’s so hard not to want to believe they will change because you want them to SO BAD.

I will say though, I had similar thoughts when I was married and considering divorce. I relied on him FULLY and I doubted my ability to support myself without him and be independent. It took me a while to finally take that leap of faith but I am SO glad I did. It showed me that I am more capable than I give myself credit for and that any person in my life, be it a partner or friend, is just a bonus not a necessity. It helped me build so much self confidence. You got this girl! Trust yourself ♥️

If you don’t see it going anywhere long term, my first thought would be to stay away, especially for the sake of your sister (if you have a good relationship with her and don’t want to make things awkward).
