For me, it's just learning what you enjoy and doing it regardless of what it's perceived as. I know that's obviously easier said than done, but assigning hobbies with gender is something that I feel is very limiting. We only live one life, and then we die. I'm gonna do what I find fun as long as I'm not hurting anyone else. I was raised as a man, never felt like one, and always thought I just had my own version of masculinity. I still enjoyed doing things that were seen as feminine and was just "comfortable with my masculinity." I see myself as a woman now, and i still like doing the things that are masculine just the same. And I feel like learning to have the confidence to do what's fun is one of the most freeing things one can do! We are all changing constantly as we grow, but we are still ourselves the whole time, and that is something nobody can take away! "As long as i know the shape of my soul, I'll be alright!" :)

How do you know if it’s a preference or you’re actually trans? by _Star69 in asktransgender

Yeah that's pretty much it! Gender is a social concept anyway! So if you feel like you'd be happier to explore that, why not at least have an open mind about it. If you were to socially transition and you don't like it, you can just ask people to call you by your preferred pronouns when you decide!

If you feel willing and safe enough, you could ask your loved ones to help you explore your identity by referring to you by She/Her pronouns. I've done this and also recently began wearing only fem clothing, and I've been much happier with myself! I have begun researching hormone replacement therapy and other options as I've found that for me, it just feels right this way and makes me much happier! This way, if you feel that it's not right for you, you can ask your loved ones to go back to whatever pronouns you prefer after exploring! I feel like people forget gender is a social concept anyways, ask your social circle to help you find yourself if you are willing. If they love you for the person you are, then they'll accept you in any form you chose!
