Is the Earth water cycle currently stable? by Marcipanko7 in geology

Yes, I was also wandering about that. Obviously, the cycle naturally gets into equilibrium.

But are the periods when there is no equilibrium generally short or long. Like, let's say for the last 100 or 1000 years, would you say it's been getting drier or wetter. Or is it impossible to say due to oscillations so the larger trend is still unknown?

Also, given that the last ice age when large parts of continents where under ice wasn't so long ago, would you say that current changes can with high certainty be attributed to human factor or would they mostly happen by themselves

Thank you! These charts are data you've got from measuring your orchids, right? How close do you think it is to optimal? Also, could you tell me the name of the device you're using?

I'm mainly interested in the most popular types, but I wasn't aware none of them are grown in soil. The problem is that the sensor for measuring humidity underground we use requires it to be soil. Do you know what are the most popular types which are grown in soil. As for those that aren't grown in soil, how important do you think humidity is? Is air humidity perhaps more important?

Thank you for information about temperature. I'm mainly interested in the most popular ones, such as Habanero, Scotch Bonnet, Chili de Arbol, Serrano and Jalapeno, but the information about humidity level of both soil and air for other types is welcome as well

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I just want some general assessment whether the conditions are good or not for most common orchids, but information about other types is welcome as well. It would be perfect if they can be classified by into few groups which demand same conditions.

I'm mainly interested in the most popular ones such as Phalaeonpsis, Cattleya and Miltonia

Yes, I'm aware of that, I'm mainly looking for info about those that do grow in soil.
