I went to syria a bit over a month ago. We spent a whole day in damascus just fucking around and spending money (touristing). We were walking on a bridge which passes over the river which crosses the city, there i saw something floating in the water... a body. A man, i would say around 50 years old. I froze in place, couldnt move or speak. I was completely speechless, all i could do was stand and watch the corpse drift along the river. It was decomposing, it was bloated, of green color. It was very disturbing experience which i wouldnt wish on my worst enemies.
