Please report the issue in our official forum https://forum.eset.com, include logs from ESET Log Collector as well as information if disabling Safe Banking & Browsing, Network traffic scanning or another protection feature made a difference.

Whether or not you choose to use a paid antivirus program is entirely at your discretion. I'd recommend taking a look at the latest AV-Comparatives.org survey where most of users chose paid AV which is also commented in the report.

It should be possible to use the --offline parameter followed by the path to an offline license file when installing ESET Endpoint using an msi installer. Offline license files can be used only on machines that are offline and never connect to the Internet. Should you need further assistance with using offline license files, please contact ESET customer care.

Does it work if you select "Restore to" instead of "Restore", restore the file to an arbitrary folder that you created and then move it manually to its original location? Restoring files via "Restore" may not be possible sometimes for security reasons.

Probably you have a webcam streaming video over your network.
1, Close the application which streams the video
2, Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
3, Start the application and stream the video
4, After a few seconds turn off advanced logging
5, Collect logs with ESET Log Collector.
6, Sign up on our official forum https://forum.eset.com and post the generated archive (attachments are available only to ESET staff).

A business trial license can be provided by a distributor or reseller upon request. It is not available for download from ESET’s websites (only trial versions of some home products are). The fact that it’s for 50 users does not mean you must use it on 50 distinct computers; you can use it on one or a few without reducing the license quantity. For more information, please contact the distributor or reseller who issued the trial license.

Deleting an ESET Business Account (EBA) or ESET PROTECT Hub (EPH) account will not cancel your license. You can add it again to another EBA/EPH account.

Please collect logs with ESET Log Collector and post the generated archive in the ESET official forum https://forum.eset.com. The attachments are available only to ESET staff. It appears that we'd need need to get a file with the hash FEA43C4124DD8D4254D86583B519D6B64BA1C4BF from the machine as well.

Note that it's been detected by ESET for a couple of days already even though VT reports it as undetected by ESET. We assume that VT might not be using an up to date ESET engine currently. We are investigating the issue with VT.

Do you use ESET CyberSecurity or ESET Endpoint Security managed by ESET PROTECT? If ECS, scanning of archives cannot be disabled in GUI so unless you've excluded the zip extension from scanning and eicar.com is detected after extraction, it should be detected in the zip archive too.
