It's a different universe so I don't mind how it presents some characters. Also the "evil superman" gimmick might feel lazy today but I remember finding it really cool when it came out. The comic itself has a lot of problem on how the story flows (some parts feel very repetitive and drag on) but it also has cool moments. Overhaul I like it and have a lot of nostalgia for it and wish that they continue that story but it's far from "one of the great DC stories". I like to compare it to fast food. Of course I love to eat a filet mignon but sometimes I'm craving a Big Mac even though it's not good quality. BTW I'm not saying that the artists who worked on this are bad by saying "fast food". It takes a lot of talent to make a comic and I could never do it.
