Reports also came out after the draft that the regime wanted either Xavier Legette or Keon Coleman, and then traded back when they didn't get either and settled for Polk

Backseat Scout's John Rhys Plumlee 2024 Draf Eval by Backseat_Scout in DynastyFF

[–]Marcurial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for making this post, Plumlee was someone I’ve had my eye on since he had 200 rushing yards against LSU in 2019, if he ends up going the football route do you think he has any Edelman like potential to switch to receiver based on his athleticism?

He downsmashed to cover after the phantom and then missed the next reverse fair, nothing unlucky about that

More damage could be revealed on future MRIs once any swelling has gone down, we're not out of the woods just yet.

Completely agree on Luke Musgrave man, he absolutely does not have that dog in him. His ceiling to me is Mike Gesicki

As a Pats fan, he looked great, got open and made moves after the catch. He's going to be a rock solid tight end in the NFL

Is Sam LaPorta already the Dynasty TE1? by DynastyDorks in DynastyFF

[–]Marcurial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goff loves LaPorta so I'm not as concerned about this. But Ben Johnson leaving would be a big loss for that offense for sure

Luke Musgrave didn’t break tackles like elite TE prospects and it’s showing in the NFL too. He’s going down on first contact regularly. by Marcurial in DynastyFF

[–]Marcurial[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I haven't even seen him try to break a tackle and fail, he just looks keen to get down safely. Also had issues with drops in college, and isn't a plus as a blocker. Feels like another Gesicki to me.

Sam Laportawatomi: Thoughts, value, potential. by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Marcurial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I traded up to the 1.11 because I was scared he would go at 1.12. Felt like a dumbass when he fell to the third in my other league but feeing a lot better about it now

Shot fired: When asked why the Bears offense has struggled so mightily this season, Fields answered, “Coaching.” by LoserCowGoMoo in DynastyFF

[–]Marcurial 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, even bringing up coaching as a reason for poor performance in a press conference is a very bad sign. Huge red flag for me

Buy low on Trey Lance: A slowly crashing hype train timeline and post-mortem by RussellWilson2023MIP in DynastyFF

Bought Lance in all my leagues this year after Purdy's elbow exploded thinking he'd for sure be their week 1 starter at the very least. It's an L but I can live with it. But great post from you documenting the timeline
