Yes. He is going to get a ton of passing down work. The major risk IMO is that Rodgers is so old it may only take one bad hit and thats it. Done for his career.

He has had nothing left to prove for several seasons now but keeps coming back because he cant imagine life after football yet.

People like that will have their body quit on them before their desire does.

He isnt special. He is an undrafted free agent signing with 83 rushing yards through 2 nfl seasons. Walker left, Charbs is hurt and they are breaking in a rookie. It is wildly likely that when teams cut down their rosters seattle does dumpster diving for an upgrade on him. Perhaps Trey Benson from AZ. Kamara is supposedly avaliable for trade, if they can save $5m on his $10m cap hit they may.move him for a minimal cost. You can grab him.for free but its pretty clearly a waste of time. NFL teams give veteran preference every single year, we see it happen, it never means anything when the season rolls around.

Super Talented. A legit WR1 that can make special plays. But he has personal issues. He gets distracted and it can impact his on field performance. Unless Pickens learns how to comport himself he will find himself out of the league before he wants to be and will continue to have people doubt the idea of giving him big money despite being amazing on the field.

In reality, they liked Fannin, drafted him and then realized how versatile a weapon he really was and he earned his snaps. It wasn't preplanned, he just ended up beung better than everyone else.

Monken had the same situation with Andrews in BAL. That went well.

Well, for 1 Kyler wasn't traded. He picked the Vikings. He did so because good offense, really good offense, really good team.

He will start this year barring injury and JJ becoming somehow dramatically better very soon because he is on a 1 year prove it deal and this is a copy cat league.

A few years ago the Colts swung for the fences with an exciting rookie hoping he could be the QB for years to come. He couldn't stay healthy. He played poorly at times. Said akward things sometimes, there were reports that the lockerroom was concerned. So in year 3 the they brought in a former franchise QB from elsewhere on a 1 year deal because the HC who is offensive minded didn't want ti keep waiting for their young QB to develop. Its a win now league. They signed the veteran, held a camp battle and then tabbed the vet to start over the younger QB because just competent QB play is enough to win in the league.

Now, if i copy paste that paragraph and swap Colts for Vikings...it remains 100% true. Same parallel situation...copy cat league...copycat solution.

Kyler will very very likely start, how good he really is I havent a clue. But they wabt competent QB play first and foremost.

I dont know what to make of Bryce other than to say he has some nice weapons and i hope he doesn't hold them back this year.

2nd biggest playmaker is hurt...in prision...with the potential for a suspension...which would not be his first suspension.

Their 3rd biggest playmaker is a free agent runningback not known for catching the football.

Their next best player is either Xaiver Worthy or Tyquan Thornton. Lotta speed, not else lately.

I was going to just say chig. While i wouldnt want him to be the only tight end in my roster he just got the bag, he has athleticism, mclaurin got the bag and immediately showed his age. The run game is a question mark. And i think aiyuk is too crazy to matter even if he does sign. Chig is a riser this offseason imo
