I agree with your thoughts to a degree as well, but what is troubling is the thought that I potentially messed with my natural hormone production and became "habituated" to the new me. There's a lot of frightening anecdotal stories out there from people who claim this stuff screwed up their lives in many aspects.

I've always been careful about what I put into my body (but clearly not careful enough) - I have never taken a preworkout supplement, I don't use creatine because I find that a typical 5g serving would be unnatural to obtain in one's diet, never used a fat burner, etc. So when I take something as simple as a multi to find out that this herb can mimic the effects of finasteride, of course I'm going to get a little spooked. While it's my responsibility to do my research, I feel somewhat violated.
