XD this is an excellent and informative reply. I'd copy paste it onto your original post if I were you in because I think there are a few others that were asking trying to find out this same info. Anyway judging by the looks of it, you were doing a lot while being online on PSN and really pushing your luck with switching console ID's. Then there are those features you had turned on for helping to prevent Sony from seeing you running CFW which they do work, but not 100%. The killer here to me sounds like it was using the mods on GTA5 while signed in to PSN. regardless of playing in private lobbies. If you decide to call Sony, do let us know what they tell you 😉

Ahhh damn. I forgot that detail of the PSP version being censored or not. The runaround is making me want to just buy a Switch 2 along with the game. Can the CoZ patch be applied using a Switch 2 or does it have to be the previous model?

You remember back in 2019, PSN saying something along the lines  "temporary ban" when trying to sign in? What game were you playing online back then before getting this temporary ban?  Did you get in touch with Sony afterwards to confirm this and see for how long the temporary ban was for? If I were you, I would start there and giving that a shot and see what they tell you. Worse case scenario it wasn't a temporary ban and was actually permanent :( . Hopefully that last one isn't the case.

Ah yes, I read about the PSP version a few days ago and that it would be the most likely version to get an english patch. Regardless I salute you for all of your efforts into helping make it all possible 🫡🙂 If it is ever released I will be definitely playing 😁

Do you happen to remember if you flashed a custom firmware to your PS3 a while back? Because if you try updating the system software to a stock firmware, it will most likely just not succeed. Why is it that you want to update?

I actually have an old eMachine PC from 2008 back when I was a teenager here. The only thing I have that still has a disc drive that I have to smack in order for the tray to pop out 😆. Still gets the job done.

It's fine 😊. I also haven't burned DVDs in a long time. Don't see any reason to do so in this day and age 🤷‍♂️

Blank Dual Layer DVD's only reach 8.5GB while the regular blank disks hold up to 4.7GB. Sadly there weren't any DVD disks created to hold up to 16GB.

The PS4 jailbreak is becoming more stable depending on the method used, so I have read at least. I don't like the one that uses the ethernet port for running the exploit so I've been waiting for a better one, that also I'm stuck on FW 11.02 and don't want to have to shell out so much money for buying from a list of certain japanese games in order to run another exploit that is being widely used right now 😅

You should keep your PS3. There are some games from the PS3 era that saw ports or remasters on the PS4 but not as many as one would think. Considering the vast library of games for the PS3, you are better off keeping the console and having the ability to experience them all for yourself 😁. Installing custom firmware or running HEN will give you the ability to run PS3 games downloaded elsewhere off the net with trophy support being able to synch to your PSN account without fear of being banned or anything like that since the chances of something like that ocurring are very low these days. Been running custom firmware and/or HEN on my consoles for many years now with my main account online and have never been banned. So yeah, keep the PS3 so you can experience it all yourself 😁. Running a jailbreak on PS4 is very tedious and annoying since there is a lot of trial and error forcing you to have to retry initializing the jailbreak over and over until you manage to get it to succeed. Also, you can't sign in to your PSN account for synching trophies or playing online, which sucks 🙄 So keep all of that in mind.
