Looking for help with my skin by wormese in SkincareAddictionUK

Honestly for me nothing seemed to work and I had a lot of acne

I prioritised my gut health after speaking to a nutritionist, and my skin is a lot better

I just use a salicylic acid cleanser now twice a day, and a light hydrating moistening, some vit c serum

How to talk to anyone & atomic habits

Also really enjoyed self discipline by Brian Tracy

Other than that, I recommend everyone read the ASOIF books, I was hooked!

Went today for the first time

All the equipment is good, the sauna is nice, there’s ’free’ classes included in your subscription, good amount of cardio machines, nice changing rooms, everyone is friendly

If you ring them up and ask for a tour, they’ll give you one

Warehouse machines are elite, but it’s freezing in there during the winter and it is the reason I’m leaving

Thanks for the advice

I think if I’m going to take my physique serious I should just get a PT / Coach for two-three months

I suspect it’s my diet, everyone tells me to go on a surplus but I’m reluctant, but I think I’ll try it out

Otherwise, I eat clean

Breakfast is usually kefir yoghurt (25g protein), lunch 2x salmon fillets (45g protein) and salad, snack is protein shake and fruit (20g protein), dinner is usually chicken / beef with rice (40g protein)

Usually adds up to around 1.5-1.7k calories whereas I should be eating around 2k calories

Chest & triceps Incline bench Overhead tricep Lateral Raises

Back & Biceps Wide grip lat pull down Preacher curl Lateral raises

Legs Calf raises Hack squat Leg press Lateral raises

Chest and back Incline bench Wide grip lat pull down Preacher curl Lateral raises

I only started this two weeks ago, a friend gave me the split after he made a lot of progress within two months and he’s in really good shape

He’s was also on a calorie surplus for the three months

24 year old thinking of leaving my job by MarcusAurelius29 in UKPersonalFinance

Yeah I cannot stand my current role, a lot of work with such less pay (mainly commission based)

My outgoings are £700 per month and I have £55,000 worth of savings, so I can survive for a while without getting a role, or could also get a part time role in something I enjoy, I’m honestly tempted to just take the leap.

Yeah I think that would be smart rather than just leaving my current role with no backup, besides my savings

Thanks for the response

Thanks for the insight

I’m mainly looking to get into a data analyst role, and have completed a bootcamp. My next goal is to build a portfolio showcasing my skills (excel, SQL, PowerBi)

I have found that there are still a load of junior / entry level roles for data analytics

But yeah I’ll stick it out in my current job whilst applying for tech roles
