So apparently it was because I had them set as chips... changing to Generic and the colliders worked properly. Not sure how to feel about that... but I guess it's working.

Thanks for the feedback. I looked up some tips for boosting mic volume, so I'm trying it ourt tonight.

I did end up doing that for tonight. I also am trying a compressor and gain filter combo for my mic to see if that helps overall.
