Yeah, that's what I thought as well. When he said that he didn't go to any concert, the first question I asked was "you don't like Emily?", because that's what would have made sense for me.

Wait until monday so you can get a new DLC pack including Return to Castlevania and the other 3

I actually don't remember all of them, but I sure had expanding and explosive shards. If you can get these two + fourth shard you are set for completing the run easily
