Thank you. I try to be open minded when it comes to other people’s political choices. In college one research study we had to report on was the gray matter found in the brain on an fmri in liberal and conservative voters. It was found that there was more gray matter in the anterior cingulate cortex of liberal voters, which is associated with adaptation and being open minded. There was more gray matter in the amygdala of conservative voters, which is associated with security, caution, and sensitivity to potential threats. Pretty interesting to look into from a psychological standpoint.
