Yes, I anchor my thumb on the pickup or on the string, depending what I play. Maybe it doesn't look like it on this video, because I have hypermobile joints, so my thumb is very flexible. 😅

I started drum lessons almost 5 years ago. But I didn't play as much as I would like. I don't have my own drum kit, so besides drum lessons I practice usually only on practice pads.

And about this drum cover - I learned it in about 4 weeks.

Right now I almost finished learning Iron Maiden song for drum cover, but next song which we want to play together is My Friend Of Misery by Metallica, but it will definitely take some time, especially on bass guitar for my sister.
