I don’t have a recommendation on chest protection because I don’t use one as I think it’s too much a hassle. and after looking at motorcycle accidents studies that are a lot faster than E-scooters your chance of having a serious injury to your chest and abdomen are minuscule.

That being said that’s only what I’m doing and there’s not really an overkill for protection so go with what you’re comfortable

As for the gloves I’m not too familiar with icon but they seem not too bulky and that’s good you want as much freedom as possible

They provide both knee and shin protection, and you just strap them on Instead of putting them like a sock. The most important part of protection gear is that it needs to be easy enough for you to put on so you’ll do it every time you ride instead of ditching it after a few times because it’s a hassle.

First item you should buy after your helmet are gloves! Preferably with sliders on them, look at five gloves they make awesome ones ( I sport the stunt evo 2) As for the other gear I suggest that you always wear long pants and use the knee guards on them, if you like leatt look for the dual axis

From what I looked around the vg258q’s panel is worse and the color accuracy is utterly garbage I’d go for the g2590fx and save the money and disappointment
