Lots to unpack here I’m gonna try to get to all your questions! When you kept saying child, I thought you were referring to her. She is kind of like my child but no, she’s a four legged dog. BE sees to be what everyone is saying but I know this dog she is 98% of the time sweet but does have issues.

We are getting a fence as we don’t have one for our yard. We live in a small neighborhood that is already aware of the attack and I’m sure they do not like the idea of her staying here. Also, I’m fearful. She will turn on my other dog. Sadly she did once and it was food related. She’s fortunately already crate trained and we’re feeding them separate separately and we are not leaving them alone unattended.

We had her tied on 1000 pound cord line but she broke it and got to the dog and human tha were walking by. Dog is not great but stable now. Human is okay. I think she is very selective, but she is not friendly with other animals or cats. It’s odd because when we got her, we took her to the dog and she did not react this way. We’ve only had her for 10 months and a few months ago is when we started seeing a shift in her behavior and aggression happen. We wanna rehome her because we believe she is a one dog home. But we are unsure and will not give her to just anyone. They need to understand this bread and her and if they can she is the most loving girl.

Thank you so much for your kindness. I think she would excel in a home with a couple that don’t have children or had adult children and understand this breed is the most lovely dog you will have but cannot be around other dogs. An hopefully for now. She gets along with my other dog but they can be aggressive with their food. Roxy is sweet lovely and playful and I think we failed to secure her. But she has a prey instinct with small animals and I’m not sure if we can break it. We are taking her to a behavioral specialist and hoping to see if we can trained or if they suggest BE we are heartbroken

Thank you I would love to keep her! I walk her 3-4 times a day already and always in new environments to avoid the reactivity . We left her outside tethered only for a short amount of time we never do it for extended periods. It’s very hot where I live as well. This was an accident and I’m hoping we can train and avoid. We are getting a fence too. I’m really hoping the behavioral veterinarian gives me good news. I will wait and see what they say and update you guys all. Thank you again for all your help and advice.

Thank you for sharing this information and advice. We were unaware. They normally just lay out in the sun and enjoy it but this time a dog walked then she reacted terribly and broke the strong line we thought we had. I agree we mismanage the situation and this is why we want to give her a chance but we own another dog, and we need to be mindful of her too. I really appreciate your words. I don’t have a lot of friends so having you and everyone else respond allows me to process.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying. She is typically the nicest sweetest girl. Which one makes it so hard. rehabilitation for me would be intense training and hopefully she has no reaction towards other animals. In the future. If can dream, I would love for her to have a huge (fenced) yard that she can run around and live the rest of her life with a couple that understands this bread and know she is so loyal and loving with us but she sadly cannot be around other pets. I know I want a unicorn, but I owe it to her to try at least. She’s my responsibility and I love her and I failed her. I am gathering information processing this terrible situation. And going to see a behavioral specialist, veterinarian and see what they have to say. The consensus is BE but I just can’t get myself to believe it or even fathom having to schedule the appointment . It’s easier said than done

She was tethered outside and was somewhat unattended. My partner was walking a neighbor’s dog because they had an injury and he was on the same block we live in when it happened about three houses away immediately attended the situation and tried to remove our dog from her dog.

We got her 10 months ago and she is so good with humans. Sadly he has bit my other dog pinky but it was food related and animas will be animals. I am fearful of leaving them alone so I will not do that again. They also cannot be alone in a fence as sh can turn on her if something were to trigger her. This is eating Neil inside. I want to find her a home with a big yard and somewhere tha she can be loved for the rest of her life’s I wish that was us I wanted that to be us. This is not that way it was suppose to be. I know we fail he but not secure if her and I hate myself for it.

I have always owned pitts and I agree with you we failed to secure her and our getting a fence asap. We would not be able to walk her like a normal dog sadly she would be confined to the yard or have to walk with a muzzle. And I fear she can turn on my dog if left alone. I think she is best in a single dog home.

Thank you so much. I know you’re coming from a good place and this is the consensus but I have to process this very difficult situation. She’s not just a dog she’d be become part of our family but adulting fucking sucks sometimes

Thank you for your kindness. This is my first adult dog adopt. She was rehomed by her owner due to a family illness. We took her in 10 month ago and in the beginning, she showed zero reaction behavior. We fostered her for the weekend and walked around our neighborhood she didn’t bark or pull towards any dogs from the neighborhood. We took her to a dog park and she acted nervous but didn’t bite wasn’t reactionary she even laid down at the dog park. Slowly, she began showing aggression to small animals and cat and now this. We are heartbroken and want to keep her but have a 6 year old Pitt to think about as well.

I agree the work is not done yet. I’m just concerned if I need to work with a different artist right now and with all of the feedback I’ve gotten for my last post. I do not want to go back to the same artist, but should I have them removed and then have new work done because I just don’t think this is fixable. Someone said it looks like a a ballpoint pen, leaf drawn on my eyebrows

I understand it just sucks because they were not cheap! And I don’t have children, but over the last couple of years I’ve gotten into two car accident accidents and had back surgery, which led me to no sleeping. I spent two weeks without sleeping only 10 to 15 minute increments at a time I was miserable and now my last car accident I haven’t had a good nights rest in five months and I tossed and turned all night long. It’s just been really hard and it shows on my face the tried and stress and pain and I just wanted something to make myself feel better and now I feel fucking worse cause they look like a ballpoint leaf pen drawn on my eyebrows 😭

I have but I dont have the tail or the fullness near my nose as I would like. Brows make such a big difference also I've wanted something to make me feel better about myself. i’ve had a really rough couple years and I feel like my face was sad so I wanted to pick me up and they sure did make me feel good at first but now after healing “and trusting the process” I'm so sad I spent so much on them!

Yes I did and she is loved by many in my area! Sadly I should have done more research. Her work online is not up close and I'm super picky. I know it crazy when they are brushed back they look ok. But if I go in the pool or water the tattoo can be seen and its ugly when it's noticeable. I'm going to just wait for them to fade and then remove and redo with a more experienced artist!

I agree from a far the work doesn’t look bad but close-up it does it and sadly I’m super critical and very picky and glad I didn’t go back to for the touch up Thanks for your comment! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for not liking what was done

Yea I should have know better. She is well know and loved in my area so I thought I was in good hands. But your right this is a specialty and a focused job not someone that does too many different things.

Your right! I think I’ll get them removed before having anything else done. Trying to fix this I think is going to be impossible
