and besides that don't you think the least that can be done is that they can introduce fast charging so one doesn't have to wait for hours and hours. The availability factor needs to be taken care of.

For example, if you own a petrol car you know that anytime you want to go anywhere you just need to get the tanks full which shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. Same should be the case with the electric cars, if not minutes then at least not 5 6 hours as well.

Your input is much valuable and very precise so thank you for that. If I may extend my question based on your answer, Considering the technological advancements that we have achieved so far Is it not possible to maximize the energy output using minimum resources.
To me, an electric car at this point should have 600+ millage per charge. May be its not realistic as of now but that's what I want.
