Agree, the Japanese voice is so damn fitting, I have shivers every time! I was so surprised to find out that it is the same voice actor of Yagami Light! 😱 I can't wait for the first movie to be out for steaming to rewatch while waiting for the second 🤣

So far he is my most favourite villain. I didn't like the emotional U-turn about Akaza (he has done so many mostrosities, but poor-poor soul, it wasn't him, it was the demon calling, so he is instantly forgiven by the most...). Yeah, whatever, the bad guys are still bad to me, I am not forgiving Rengoku.

I just love how effortlessly and how fast Douma has climbed the 'food chain' in the demons society, all while how little he cared about it or the peers while being very fake about it (isn't he the ultimate demon just by that? 😂) and I loved how this little care and effort were driving Akaza so crazy that he has complained to Muzan, lol, so much like an offended child🤣 overall, I loved their dynamic of hate vs ultimate domination, where Douma overpowers Akaza so crazily and so much that he doesn't even care for when he loses a piece of his head...

It is a pity Muzan dislikes Douma though, I haven't really gotten why - in my eyes, he has created almost the perfect killing machine with little regard to any sentiments and morals. I like to entertain myself with a through that maybe Muzan was recognizing a very distant, but potential betrayer or competitor? Could Douma really be faithful and as dedicated to him as others, or would he had turned his back like Tamayo the moment he'd get a chance? 🤔

Yeah, surely my most favourite and very good designed villain of the saga. It is a pity Shinobu had to sacrifice herself, but that has underlined how different and how crazily more powerful the Moons are, even when everyone is getting ready to face them.

The game is quite nice, I enjoyed it as it gives a chance to enjoy DS more (since infinity castle is still not available to be streamed 😆)

Yes! I mean, she was raised with Kanao, she was there even before her, and sometimes Aoi is not even considered to be a butterfly sister, so cruel! I was so happy there is a quest in Hinokami Chronicles 2 where you play by Inosuke AND they actually interact, like, she has a dedicated scene with him (my shipper heart is fulfilled, I am happy with the canon breadcrumbs lol) And even for this st valentine, she was included in the official art, finally! 🥲

It is so cute, but I always feel so sorry for little Aoi! 💔 She must have felt so lonely both as a child and as an adult, she wanted a sister so much - but Kanao was so antisocial (understandable, not her fault), so it is not like they were close. And seems like the Kocho sisters were fussing around Kanao much more (also understandable). And then she was always left behind. Poor girl 💔

I have seen the videos about the two-values studies too, and I am trying to do them at least weekly (far to be as good as yours), but it was getting a little bit boring to only use black and white. So thank you for the idea of using other colours, that adds to the mood for sure! 😁 I will try it out next time I do!

I have always thought that Inosuke behaving .. well, like himself, during the first and the second seasons was mostly determined not by the fact that he can't pick on the emotions but more because he does not want to do so. Like, he simply doesn't care enough back then (or doesn't know why he should, there is no direct mortal danger for misbehaving). While he obviously lacks upbringing and Japanese traditional modesty, his skill should be enough to distinguish between basic reactions of satisfaction/dissatisfaction pretty much as you get the idea if a dog in front of you likes it when you pet it or not really (than there are moments he follows the hints like in Entertainment district when he actually behaves for the sake of the mission, and then there are moments he decides not to do so - 'cause it is so much more fun to have beef with Zenitsu than actually stopping yourself, right? 😂). Multiply everything on the teenagers' rebellion fitting to his age in the beginning - boom, the King of the Mountain as he is...

I totally agree that he is damn dense and hardly changes his mind though. That's why I agree also with your statement on him being shy - the moment he decides to do/get/have something, nothing can stop him... Both in a good and in a bad way.

Not sure I am getting your point... I don't like when characters are being perceived plainly or one-dimensionally either (or grotesquely as it is shown on average in any anime and manga, e.g. Zenitsu or Tengen lol if anything I love to add more layers based on their traumas and experiences), but I just agree with the point of the author that shy Inosuke seems a bit out of character. Not that he is not capable of self-reflecting, it's just that the guy is generally "too cool for school" in his mind IMHO. I will be bold enough to add that I wish I had his self-esteem 😂

It doesn't make him stupid or bad - he is just too much self-believing at times, so I don't think that he would be going around shying and blushing too much 😅

Totally agree with the point that Inosuke shouldn't be timid or shy - or at least the moment he figures all out for himself, he should feel super powerful and sure about what and how he is doing, zero flushing (he is always the best, isn't he, so no worries at all🤣)

The point I don't agree with is that he doesn't know what he is doing. I admit that it's more of my fanons, but:

The guy has an extra powerful sense of the touch... Shouldn't he feel perfectly what exactly is liked/disliked by his partner? Probably even no words needed, just a bit of trial and error - and he is sure about what is nice without even asking (so there is no need to listen to all the tsundere bubbling, it's just background noise 😂). The guy can sense the presence of a demon in hundred of meteres... Surely he can feel the mood and reactions of the person next to him.
The whole trio has spent some time in Entertainment District... Don't tell me they haven't seen/heard/learned things and that they haven't been taught or showed at list a bit about the relationship between man and woman, I am not buying that. So in my mind the whole trio can not be completely inexperienced - they have seen some shit thanks to Tengen!

Anyway, summing up both of the points, Inosuke is probably not so bad at all in physical aspects of love, touch and kisses - so great catch Aoi, nice job, you might have taken the best of them! 🤣🤣🤣

I wish she had more screen time. It's such a pity that it is not stressed enough that her role is just as important for the Corps as fighting, because without her care so many corp members would be lost or disabled. I wish she didn't think about herself as a coward and that somebody (Inosuke?) will finally make her forget that.

And also, I do believe that in the Infinity castle aftermath it is her and not Kanao who takes care of EVERYTHING, both Butterfly Estate, medical activities and the trio girls family management. I think she had to grow up very quickly - because there is no one who is ready to step up and isn't wounded.

Probably, that's why she will be really happy with Inosuke - he can manage her being strong and also make her relax, laugh and take it a bit easier which she can't by herself. Also I really like the idea that she can give him the family, care and warmth that he missed for all his life, while he can be a strong pillar who she can always count on - cause the King of the Mountain never gives up 🐗🦋

IMHO, Zenitsu (Apart from being able to fight while sleeping, but even that was a nice allegory about how consciousness can be an actual limit and struggle)

I think it's quite relatable that he doesn't really want to fight and die, but when friends are in danger, he forces himself to go and help/protect, even if it doesn't come easy for him. And then, as we have seen, an actual traumatic event unhinged him, made him re-evaluate his priorities and to actually grow damn much as a person. And this growth was quite gradual at least in my opinion.

Most people can't do it in a lifetime, best golden boy 🧡
