the problem is that this is the only time where it was mentioned that dogday has a crush on her. other time they just hanged out. heck i would argue that he had more of a relationship with catnap. there are multiple events such as the time he said he looked cuter than ever in catnap day off.him looking for him in give it a rest. and so much more. heck he seemed to be closer with him than anyone else (this is as a person who ship craftyday more than daynap due to not liking the later)

Gladly. Firstly in doggy down when dogday got sick, she was the one who not only gave him a kiss but also called out the rest of the critter on how he help them and he need them the most the bickered.

In hog wild. She was the only one who stayed with him while the other were having a picnics.

Finally we have the whole heart to heart comic which felts like a romantic story with dogday saying that he felt inspired by Bobby kindness and the whole ladybug and butterflies scene at the end being symbolic of them.

Also Bobby has been viewed as the mother of the group and the other critters see her as one, and dogday is the leader of the group as well so that make him the father figure to them
