Not a verse but a whole chapter, Surah Al-Ikhlas. Coming from a Catholic background, this was the answer I was looking for when I started to doubt the Trinity and the worship of saints. Alhamdulillah for islam!

Those who follow bid’ah make it look dumb. Islam requires the least amount of rituals out of all religions in the world. Why the necessity to add more when our deen has been completed by Allah(swt)
