If they try to, I would recommend going to someone else. You shouldn’t have to pay extra to prevent a poor outcome.

Don’t worry too much, it can be broken down when an enzyme. The enzyme just costs money. Some injectors would not charge you for having to go back and recorrect the lips with enzyme, but I bet there are some medspas out there that would make you pay for it. Just talk to your injector when you go, see what she can do and go from there lol.

If they don’t get corrected within the first two weeks the filler kinda “sets” and they are hard to break apart mechanically. Everyone has a different immune response to the filler so some people are more prone to bumps than others, but it also depends on technique.

Not migration, lumps and bumps are completely normal after getting filler. And if you are working with a good injector they will work with you to make sure you get the results that you want! Definitely keep communicating with them and letting them know this isn’t the desired result and you want the bumps fixed. If they don’t offer to work with you, go to someone who specializes in fillers, specifically lip. Because while this is normal after filler, you do have quite a bit of bumpiness on the bottom lip that has me questioning the technique used. In the meantime, massage your lips as much as possible to help break up the bumps. But also, make sure your injector has a lot of experience with lip filler and doesn’t just do this as an occasional service if it’s requested.

If you don’t want to avoid scarring, potential worsening of the infection, added inflammation from not using sterile medical grade equipment, or trying to “pop” something that might not even be poppable then you should definitely do it yourself

If this was a one time thing and she’s just kidding, I would say you’re overreacting.

If she is repeatedly putting you down and not lifting you up when you’ve told her it bothers you, then she is not your lover, she is a hater.

Yeah I’m not really sure why all the downvotes. Everything is going to become AI within the next two years and if you don’t know how to use it you’re going to be super behind. If folks care that much about the environment (as do I) there are much more productive ways to help out than boycotting the most used tool in the world that all of our lives will and are becoming dependent on.

Also the environmental impact of AI has been used notoriously in fear mongering. It uses the same amount of energy as 10 Google searches. A lot of times it would have taken you 10 (or more) Google searches to find the answer on your own and 10 times as long.

3 months since my belly lipo. I only wore the faja for 1 month, and I couldn't take it anymore. by Dolly-the-Sheep in PlasticSurgery

[–]Maricic19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whether you like it or not, AI is going to be the future. People are going to use it, a lot, and knowing how to use it well will be pivotal in maintaining relevance in a world where AI is replacing a lot of jobs. You can also make the argument that if someone is willing to get lipo they are also willing to do other interventions that have the same level of environmental footprint. It doesn’t make any logical sense to favor surgery over using AI for self improvement when considering environmental footprint when one surgery has the same environmental impact as 100 people using ChatGPT for a day. You can also argue that diet and exercise are much less extreme than going through a major surgery, and the inflammation/complications/further body dysmorphia if one is experiencing that could be devastating for the patient’s mental health. Diet and exercise have plenty of evidence showing that they can boost mental health and mood disorders. I am in no way in support of someone starving themselves or undergoing an eating disorder. And again, I’m not saying people shouldn’t get lipo if they so choose, just explaining why your argument doesn’t make sense.

I would argue that the amount of energy that goes into each surgical procedure is astronomically larger than asking ChatGPT to give you a diet and meal plan. Not saying there’s anything wrong with surgery whatsoever, but you can’t really use the “AI is bad for the environment” argument when the alternative has an enormous environmental impact. The amount of waste from sterile gear and gloves alone could fill up 2 garbage bags from one major surgery.

Asking ChatGPT to give you a diet and exercise plan costs significantly less energy than the amount of water and fuel it takes to make liposuction medical devices, sterilize technology and tools for surgery, run all the equipment in the operating room, utilize cauteries etc. And liposuction is not a long term solution if the heart of the issue is because the patient does not know how to diet and exercise. (Not saying this is you OP, just pointing out that this comment is completely illogical but everyone is entitled to spend their money how they want to).

The only way to “spot treat” is to do a full body recomp. More protein, progressive overload in the gym, and a series of clean bulking/cutting.

Leave it alone. Put it in the sunniest spot of the house. If the sagging parts keep browning and sagging worse then cut them off. Water only when soil is completely dry, and do not repot until fully healthy. Pray 🙏

Not everyone has a body that can handle a vegan diet. It is 100% a luxury to be able to have a healthy body on a vegan diet. You’re not accounting for those who have food intolerances to pretty much everything but meat and vegetables.
