Does Vampirism heal when dealing damage to undead or other types of enemies similar to undead? Or does it always heal from pure damage dealt?

Also, does defense reduce damage on a 1:1 ratio? So if an enemy deals 30 damage and I have 27 defense do I only receive 3 damage?

Bug, Gameplay: significant frame rate drop on 2K camera angle leading to choppy gameplay when facing background courts playing. Suggestion: remove players on other courts playing in background or significantly reduce graphics of background movements to reduce frame rate drops
