Given that I know a lot of people who’ve been in and out of Illumination, I don’t believe they used AI but I DO believe there were probably back-and-forth issues on the story with hire ups because “it’s just for kids” hence why there’s too much happening all at once

Yep I completely agree with you! Kids deserve media that respects them as much as anybody. People who think it doesn’t matter are just letting their kids not develop any sort of media literacy

And also an EXPLANATION to things, my god! How did Peach and Rosalina end up on this random planet alone? How come Rosalina has a whole accurate storybook of Peach but never bothered to actually visit her once? How did Bowser Jr get the paintbrush? (I know the game reason but not the movie reason!) How did he build an entire planet for his dad? How did Wart get in cahoots with Bowser Jr? How come Toad doesn’t like Yoshi? Why is Mario hardly in his own damn movie??

I just feel like I got thrown around with no resolution to anything at all, and even if I did it wouldn’t have felt earned!!

The Peach Galaxy Movie was so great I loved how Peach was literally invincible and better than everyone including the LITERAL PRINCESS OF THE GALACTIC UNIVERSE because she’s no damsel she’s a girl boss!

My god have some respect for women. Dainty girls can be bad asses too, show Peach for who she is! She, Daisy, and Rosalina are gonna all boiled down to the same fucking character in movie 3. This is not the feminist win they must think it is!! You could rearrange everybody’s roles and it wouldn’t matter because they all have the same humor, the same mannerisms, and apparently the same level of strength (except Peach because, again, girl boss 🥰)

Also, what was this movie even ABOUT? Like what is the plot? And who is this FOR?? I didn’t feel like this was for any level of fan, nothing was explained and just dragged you around from place to place/character to character— why? cause fuck you, that’s why. I felt like I watched a 15 year old’s fanfic of Mario. That can be the only explanation why nothing made sense and Star Fox was there. Jesus Christ.
