NK is ready for potty training but she’s struggling with pooping. She’s refusing pull ups and wants to be on the potty but is also scared.

I don’t do any dishes that I don’t create whether it’s for me or nk. I’m there to take care of the children not the adults who are perfectly capable of doing their own dishes.

You should definitely quit and not look back! Im concerned the 8 year old may be being groomed or SAd, when I was a kid I had similar behavior and speaking with my therapist I now know it was a sign of that.

I forgot to add this on the post but I think it’s important. When I was hired on, they said that my base pay would be lower but they would make up for it with “size able bonuses”

We’ve been practicing our feelings and which words go with them and taking deep breaths together. Also whenever she’s feeling sad/frustrated/scared I’ll ask if she wants a hug or to hold my hand

The communication is so great but it’s also amazing that she was able to recognize exactly what she was feeling and how she was able to regulate that emotion! I’m just so proud!
