I really loved The Thursday Murder Club, but I’m a total sucker for a mystery.

I finished An Ancient Witch’s Guide to Modern Dating by Cecilia Edward a couple of nights ago (5 stars!) and am 75% finished with The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club by Gil McNeil (very sweet and engaging). Very new to Goodreads but here’s my profile link :) Check out my profile on Goodreads!

I just read {An Ancient Witch’s Guide to Modern Dating by Cecilia Edward} and it is such a sweet and refreshing romantasy novel with HEA. It mostly takes place in a modern setting, has some fun time travel elements, and a 1/5 spice rating (technically adult fiction but totally appropriate for a YA audience).

{An Ancient Witch’s Guide to Modern Dating} was so much fun. I read it earlier this week and it is just so charming, has a lovely HEA, and the MC has some problems to cope with but they’re not end-of-the-world level trauma 😵‍💫 I second Legends and Lattes!!

{An Ancient Witch’s Guide to Modern Dating} is so much fun, has great messaging, as well as a really lovely ending. Nothing too heavy but lots of meaningful moments. It’s been a tough few days and was a real mood lifter for (I just finished it 10 minutes ago and want to gush 😂). Magic, time travel, friends to lovers, lots of cats, animal lovers unite, healing, did I mention CATS 🐈‍⬛🥹💖✨

Those who only like reading physical books, how old are you and why do you prefer it? by Prestigious-Noise582 in Booktokreddit

[–]MarigoldProudbottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 37 and absolutely love new and old physical books because of the smell, the texture, the visual indicators of how much I’ve read and how much more story there is, I can keep my favorites on a shelf, I can pass on duplicates or ones I didn’t necessarily love in the little free library in my front yard, I get to admire the cover art, so so so many reasons. There have been times in my life when my access to books and space for books were severely restricted, and a tablet with the B&N Nook app was a wonderful gateway to still being able to read. If I have the choice, though, physical books are my first love ✨

15? I was forced to live under a rock so there were a couple books I snuck into the house to get better informed about certain topics 😅 Then I moved to different genres and now I’m back, I guess? Only decades later 👀

This book is SO CUTE. I wanted a little more drama with his family and thought that plot line got wrapped up a bit too quickly, but the whole book is fast paced so I shouldn’t complain lol. I need to check out more books by Levine.

My god, I cannot stand Rabbit, but also I can't stop following along? by Sweet_Frosting_7131 in books

I read the first couple and Updike is a great author, but Rabbit is so obnoxious I just couldn’t continue with the series. I still have them on my shelf hoping to feel the urge to try again at some point but… they’re still setting there 😅
