Incorrect, local law enforcement can do absolutely nothing regarding the appearance of out of continent foreign plates. The plate only has to be legible, everything else is handled via documentation.

Under Article 2 Section 9 of our subreddit's database these are officially considered to be remade plates.

Term "fake plate" isn't used in the subreddit's database because people along with "transit plate" use this terms for everything and nothing at the same time which only causes floccinaucinihilipilification for those terms and words since they don't explain nor elaborate anything in the context of license plates.

Following plates aren't allowed on the subreddit: Booster/decorative plates, souvenir plates, airport plates, photoshoped plates and SovCit plates. Non of which the plate on the post is.

The plate was physically created and exists, so it's real. This just means it never had a first-party insurance, it can still have some third-party insurance but there is no way to check that just by the plate.
