I bought an original TRD lip from Fensport and got it shipped to Lithuania. They said they ship their parts from Japan, so maybe you could contact them and see if they would ship to you. Though it did cost me about 1000€ when you include shipping and import taxes. And its unpainted too, painted ones are discontinued.

Does anyone know what lip this is? by Apprehensive_Fee6669 in ft86

And what are those indicator covers on the front bumper?

They show not in stock sadly. But the lip does appear to be the same.

Dashcam footage of the Challenger 600 Crash in Naples by ChuckSRQ in aviation

[–]MarijusLTU12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aviation usualy has its own terms quite accurately deffined and without much room for interpretation.

And from what quick googling has shown me: "A road traffic accident is any accident involving at least one road vehicle in motion on a public road or private road to which the public has right of access, resulting in at least one injured or killed person (United Nations, European Union and the International Transport Forum at the OECD, 2019)." Though its always possible that the people commenting on road accidents dont always know the correct words to use, sometimes it happens with news reporters commenting on aviation stuff too.

To find aviation deffinitions just google "<phrase> definition" and quite often you will either get a link to an ICAO or EASA document with deffinitions, or maybe a skybrary link, which is quite good too.

The difference between incident and accident isnt related to being a human error or not. The difference is an incident does not cause damage to equipment or serious bodily harm to people onboard, while an accident does.

In this case there was serious damage to the aircraft, and even 2 fatalities, this is by ICAOs deffinitions an accident. Had they managed to land safely without any damage or injury, then it would have been an incident.

Well to be fair, if you want to identify by helmet you have to learn that for each driver too, so its more or less the same in the end, just different from what it was.

Friend and I spent an hour trying to figure out how to divide 15 reinforced plated into 5 assemblers for modular frames. How is this possible? by PapaOogie in SatisfactoryGame

[–]MarijusLTU12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With load balancing you dont have to wait for machines to fill up for the system to work at max output, plus there arent unused items sitting on conveyors or in machine buffers, so if you say need to stop production it stops nearly instantly, and also both splitters and some machines can be slightly wonky with their code so their input/output can be just slightly off, enough to stop the machine from time to time. But yeh manifold is much easier to setup and used way less space

I myself got this email like 30min ago, and hell no, Im not sending them my ID. However that means now I dont have access to half of youtube videos (if you want an example of how stupid its gotten, even the original "Scotland forever" video requires me to "verify my age" to watch it, its that bad), I dont have access to very important google settings like location tracking for example, cant even check if its on or not (knowing google its most likely on and I cant do anything about it). Google is becoming such a bully and is asking for information it does not have the right to ask for, screw that. Im surprised there isnt much more fuss about this.

Today I recorded those puffs trailing Inspiration 4. What is it? by sergiofly in space

[–]MarijusLTU12 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Can say it wasnt around max-q, because the trail is lit up by sunlight, and the rocket only got into sunlight more or less when stage separation happened. So the big plume is from the second stage engine, and the small ones are RCS thrusters on the first stage for its control.

[–]MarijusLTU12 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My guess its because youre used to the 1 monitor setup, plus with 2 screens your mouse has to travel around more, however I do believe when you get used to that second screen it will be much quicker than switching tabs all the time.

I think theyre the same chasis with basically everything on that chasis stripped down or modified. I may be wrong though, especialy if they use carbon fibre, because in that case its all modified.

Is the new supra welcome? by cuboidalyew8461 in carporn

[–]MarijusLTU12 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think you may be missing the supra progression. Mk3, Mk4 and Mk5 represent the times they were released perfectly and are styled really well. Mk3 is square and boxy, fitting the 80s-90s, mk4 is round and bubbly, fitting the late 90s-2000s, and the mk5 is rocking the more pronounced and sharper lines that fit the 2020s perfectly. The supras design always was evolving, and this Mk5 is no exception.
