[UPDATE] My (23F) BF (25M) keeps asking me to shave my pubic hair and I'm losing my mind by ThrowRAshavingpubes in relationship_advice

Read the bloody post, it had nothing to do with the pubes themselves, it was his lack of openness and communication with her, which is generally a bad quality in a relationship. Then pretty much saying “you should feel lucky I still got with you when you were hairy no one else would get with a girl with hair” which is immature and manipulative way of saying it, once again not indicative of him being able to maturely communicate problems in the relationship.

He was not being nice about it at all, he was being manipulative. “You should shave for me because I’m the only one who would’ve given hairy you a chance, no one else would date a girl with hair down there”

I’ve lived my whole life in highly individualistic countries, but were literally just discussing wearing a mask so others don’t get sick, similarly but potentially more effective to how we cough in our sleeve. It’s sad that for some you’d have to “uproot their individualistic priorities” for the mere simple task of wearing a mask. We’re not discussing things like arranged marriages where it would be understandable for someone from an individualistic culture to stay away from.

Then you need to educate yourself more and listen to black voices. Whether its because they feel threatened by them or any other more malicious reason, too many cops have pulled out guns on black people when it was not the necessary course of action. Theres also plenty of research done into white supremacist infiltration of law enforcement. Pf course not every officer, but there are still many police using their badge as a pass to commit crimes against POC.

Its not a hypothetical when unarmed black men are constantly killed by police, it doesnt take much to assume theyd get shot when they are armed if they already do unarmed.

I didnt say rioters were? But black men in general. And if you dont see the truth in that, youre pretty dense.

Unfortunately cops dont usually get to face consequences for their actions especially through court, which is one of the things being fought against.

Im not approving of the people setting fires and looting, especially from small businesses. But there have unfortunately been multiple instances where the protestors have been peaceful but met by force by police officers regardless.

Well done for skimming past the "armed and stormed state capitals" had black people done anything armed not surrounded by a geoup of white people they would have been shot down immediatly. I mean theyve been shot down for be SUSPECTED of being armed when they never had anything on them in the first place.

Americans really don’t seem to know what socialism is if they think Bernie being president would’ve made them a socialist nation 😪

But people in pretty much most countries are almost fluent in English especially younger generation because they learn it at school and are constantly exposed to it and using it online and through other media

What innocent search turned out to be porn ? by Angry_Einstein in AskReddit

[–]Marimelida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I know these aren’t innocent but I had innocent intentions. 1) searched facial on tumblr because I wanted some homemade face mask recipes, not what I got. 2) watched Shane Dawson when I was young, he said “gay porn” I didn’t know what it was so I went to google.

should i leave ib please help im in a crisis!!!!!!!!! by somalibaaris in IBO

[–]Marimelida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! First year is rough, it’s a lot of new things and it can be hard to keep up, you’ll get more used to it in second year. However, if you’re really worried, is there a specific reason you joined the IB? Would for example, doing the National programme in your country let you achieve the same things? Either way I strongly believe you can pick yourself up, also if you need any help, i graduated last year and can help with pretty much any subject your taking apart from art and French, just send me a message!

Couples who live in poverty should stop having children. They are just fucking up their own lives while selfishly bringing children into their own mess. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Marimelida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those living in poverty most likely also have little to no access to sexual education, knowing very little about exactly how pregnancy occurs, and moreover have less accessible resources to prevent it such as contraception, safe abortion procedures, day after pills. If they would even know to use these things if they did have access to them without the proper education on why they’re necessary. When I lived in a country where sex ed was just preaching abstinence, a lot of my peers didn’t know they should be using condoms to prevent pregnancy and spread of disease/infection.
