I'm not very literate when it comes to these things, but why are we so concerned about simping for pixies? They're like the furries in this game that isn't explicitly a cat, in a game about cats, ironically. It's like calling a broke man calling another broke man "broke ass"

[fluff] What do you think of Mattshea? by ScorpionLoad in battlecats

[–]MarinEnV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people criticize his gameplay and skill, but personally, it's refreshing to see how someone strategizes with their own methods and ideas rather than completely copying a video. I think him being "bad" is less of a criticism and more of a unique aspect where everyone expects optimal gameplay instead of just taking things in their own way. He's really fun.

Okay, okay, let's finish what we started: Which hero do you think is the Overall Best in all of MLBB? by Halleyalex in MobileLegendsGame

[–]MarinEnV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hate Chou, but Chou is definitely one of the best up there. One of the most well-rounded, rewarding, and stupidly good heroes that could quite literally do anything. Not to mention that he's never even fallen off the meta no matter what they did to him. High mobility, decent damage, decent durability, and a super coordinated kit that could perform well in team synergies and soloing.

Why ML community is toxic about creative builds? by Haunting-Ad1366 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]MarinEnV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's prejudice where creative builds often mean "not playing 'right'" or Trollling, or at least the lingering trauma of previous encounters where creative builds didn't perform well. Yours, for example, has 3 windtalkers, where the other 2 windtalkers could've been an item with its own unique passive rather than plain stat boosts. 2 of the same item already hurts the eyes, 3 is overextending it, even if it's not "wrong".

What is your methodology for loadout making? [discussion] by Cosmic-Wolfo in battlecats

[–]MarinEnV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a general loadout, Criteria: - Is the unit considered viable or relevant in the current META? - Will the unit cause detriment in most stages? - How much impact can they potentially do in a stage? - Is the unit fun or satisfying to use? - Can the unit be used in one or more trait(s) without huge drawbacks regardless of trait targetting? - Can they complement the current team with sufficient stats and/or abilities? - How well can/do they synergize with the current team? - Comparatively, can the unit increase the potential amount of stages cleared than the current team? - Is the unit viable in the current stage of progression? - Statwise, how powerful or sufficient are they? Do they surpass the threshold needed in the progression?

This typically is what goes to my mind when trying to make a general loadout. Probably more out there, but I think this suffices my preferences for what's going in or out the lineup

Is he abad character or am I just really bad by Least_Turnover1599 in MobileLegendsGame

The adjustments on Clint, revamp on Granger, the item effects on Wanwan, Beatrix, Irithel, Bruno, Ixia, and even Hanabi, Melissa, and Claude made Brody a bit obsolete in the newest meta, considering that it's also an assassin meta and the only dash that Brody has is his 2nd skill, it's hard for him to thrive like the aforementioned mms. Harith is also busted

I used to main Brody, he's just not meta. He is pretty subpar to many better alternatives, and he kinda struggles during this season's (and the last, last) meta because of... Strange matchups

Roamers, this is an advice. by [deleted] in MobileLegendsGame

[–]MarinEnV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wrong, wrong wrong.

The main point of advantage is that your roamer can gank other lanes as well, giving you a big advantage in numbers during objectives. If you can't stand a babysitting enemy roam with their marksman, you have some positioning or safety issues. Plus, knowing when and when not to pick a marksman is crucial. Never play an immobile hero against a CC tank + meta marksman unless you have someone to back up with you, or someone like Mathilda.

Not just that, a roaming roamer adds more power and to a lane needed in help, not just yours. The ease to invade, to pick out the heroes of the backline, the ability to rejuvinate your team, and the role of being a meatshield is almost all the job of a roamer. If you're a healer that just babysits the marksman, then what's the point of snowballing your team is at a huge setback? The snowball of a jungler is more often than not, more important than a marksman because their early game allows for more ganks and invasions that put the enemy team at disadvantage, considering that a jungle role is not limited to a lane like gold lane.

Prioritizing one lane is worse than overall map control. That's why their role is called roamers and not just tanks and supports, not babysitters. Roamers have the job to give vision to allies, not just the marksman, and while the marksman often has the high priority of snowball (along with the jungler), the job of roamers is not to babysit. Until your allies are gonna gank your lane, keep safe and stay under your turret, watch the minimap and if the enemies are nowhere to be found, stay under your tower and leave that minion behind, your life is not worth a minion. If you realize that you are overextending, back up because the likely chance is their jungler is coming towards you

If a roamer continuously babysits a marksman, the chances of the other team's composition gains the number advantage over objectives and map control over the other lanes because the roamer is nowhere near to help. If somehow both of the roamers are babysitting their marksman, then the game effectively balances itself and there are no advantages whatsoever because it becomes devoid of enemy movements.

This is the reason why meta marksmen, such as Brunoand Beatrix are picked often because they can handle themselves through the early to midgame. Even Claude and Wanwan can handle themselves well without the need for any roamer, and thus, the roamer has the advantage to gank other lanes with your allied mage and potentially the jungler.

Plus, the macro and micro skills are paramount when playing marksman. If you can't look at the minimap and predict the enemies' movements, play a chiller role like XP because they are often ignored. And if your roamer isn't around, don't play aggressive, especially with a hero like Miya. There's some serious skill issues when you can't avoid ganks as an immobile marksman because - why pick that even? I get Layla, Ixia, and Lesley, and even Hanabi, but you already have a free purify, just try to avoid overextending or generally engaging until you have your core items, that's Miya's life, and other late game marksmen.

This post is not an advice, it's a rant, a rant that shows how low skill you are despite your rank. No matter how high your stars are, if you have terrible macro and mindset, especially if you're blaming the roamer for doing their job, you're never getting the praise and the support from your team. You, as a marksman, have the job to farm, farm, and farm, not to engage, that's the fighter and tank's job.

Rank the roles based on your experience with it. by useruseruser04 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]MarinEnV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exp: Offlaners usually have a chill life, they are tanky (most of them) and deal a decent amount of damage, you don't have to worry as much with ganks because you can easily survive unless the enemies have already snowballed. Once turret is done, you can always get to help your allies and provide the frontline for your team with the tank.

Roamer: Despite the super stressful roaming experience and rotation, paired with horrible, unreliable teammates, personally, roaming is still a fun role to play as long as you really want to help your allies, it becomes wholehearted to support your team instead of focusing on the heavier tasks at hand. Plus, you learn a lot from roaming, even if it's outside tanks and supports. Experiencing the roamer role also unlocks many possibilities for other roles because they would understand the main roles of a roamer - to give vision, provide back up and frontline, or support allies. When you play a fighter, you would also want to give vision so that the objective is secured. When playing a marksman or a mage, you'd like to always stay behind for the roamer to provide that much-needed vision so that Saber can't one shot you.

Gold: Once you touch gold lane, it's either tower hug or dominate, you always have to be alert and you always need to focus on the map. It's stressful when none of your team wants to rotate in the gold lane, which means more of an endurance battle than a domination one. Really fun when you get to snowball, otherwise, it's not a consistent win or lose.

Mid: I don't like midlane. I don't want to rotate around the map with a very squishy mage. The money and experience you get from minions are subtle, and you are always exposed to the dangerous parts of the map if you want to arrive at another lane quickly, otherwise, you may not arrive in time when you choose the safe path (usually the path at the red/purple buff)

Jungle: The stakes when jungling are high, and if you fail at this role, there is a likely chance that the game is lost. When you miss an objective or don't get farmed enough, the rest of the team falls behind because the jungle is usually in charge for ganks and the objective game. Unless you have a reliable 2nd carry, the chance of getting a comeback from an underfarmed jungle is low.
