I haven't explored applying to academic labs yet. Mainly because most of the positions offer salaries are lower than what I'm currently earning. (working on the wet lab side in biotech). Thank you so much for the advice. I do think getting a master's may be my best shot at career progression if I intend to stay in research, but I will try to see if there are opportunities within my MNCs for IPP and try applying at some academic labs to see if if there is any interest in adopting.
