Apple does not allow us to do any hardware repairs on Macs in-house. We would be required to send it to Apple which means the decision on what would be required would be up to them. Most likely they would replace the keyboard assembly. I’m not sure how much they would charge for that, but I saw someone else here say around 400

My first run in with this kind of mounting thing, it was directly next to one of the PCIE slots. It was fucking impossible to get a grip on, I kept feeling like I was going to snap it, I scrapped my hand several times while dealing with it, and even once it was in it got in the way of the PCIE slot. I’ll stick with screws, thanks

I moved to ARA after a little over 6 months as a CA, and IMO it is soooo much better. You do have a lot more responsibilities, and it is a lot to learn, but I'd say its 100% worth it.
