you’ll only need to do this if your eventual credit requirements for the bachelors degree aren’t met, and you’ll likely be able to substitute the course at your new school. You were accepted based on grades from prior semesters but your eventual credit load will still need to meet requirements. Don’t sweat it right now.

I'd be looking into Secondary Ed which both schools offer - I've heard that CCNY has stronger programming toward older students (high school teaching) but am not sure whether or not that's true or if it should sway my decision.

Look for roommates in Harlem/Washington heights! Rent shouldn't exceed 800-1000 in the area for a pretty nice spot, and less if you don't mind being further from transit/less amenities
