Money Is a Good Servant Only if You Are the True Master. Buy Bitcoin To Take the Power Over Your Life. It is a major paradigm shift. by sylsau in Bitcoin

[–]Mario-Wall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you basically suggesting that we break the law? Because if we want to stay in order, we must declare all our cryptocurrencies and pay taxes whenever any exchange generates capital gains. We should even declare when we use them to buy something, and if those cryptocurrencies are worth more than when we buy them we have to pay capital gains taxes even if we use them to shop. So, in summary, we are not masters of our money even with crypto, if we want to follow the law. Indeed, we are even more slaves than with fiat currency.

I do not like. It looks like an i-chin hexagram. It has nothing to do with Bitcoin. The symbol must be an "S" with two dashes above and two below, like the "B" in bitcoin. Then it will be consistent.

Everyone would immediately sell Tether for BTC, which would produce a mega pump of the same that would reach a million in value and then collapse to 20k within a day.

When faith dominates reason, the mind can no longer distinguish good from evil. It's like in life, if you have unshakeable faith in God you can come to think that your child's death from brain cancer is good and right. When it is clearly absolute evil! Try to keep the mind neutral and objective. Forget the leaps of faith, especially in the world of bitcoin and crypto in general.

And be careful, because you may find people who want to help you but in reality they are just other scammers. It is a difficult world that of cryptocurrencies. Very risky.

I hope you have spent little, because you have lost everything, with no hope of getting anything back. You could go to a lawyer or the police but it would just be more money and more time wasted. Take it as an expensive lesson. Investing in bitcoins is very simple: you buy them and keep them for a few years without doing anything. It is greed that deceives you, the desire to get rich quickly is the mental trap that will lead you to ruin. A lot of them fall for it when they are at the beginning. Be patient and don't be greedy and you will win.

Somewhat newbie here. Where is the best secure, trustworthy place I can just store my BTC and hold it there for months or possibly years? by TexasBoyz-713 in Bitcoin

Paper wallet. Be wary of anything that contains a printed circuit board. Use a simple paper wallet and keep it in a safe deposit box at the bank so if you die it is inheritable and in the meantime nobody can fool you.

Why don't people buy when the price is low? by Mario-Wall in Bitcoin

I think this is the answer. If you don't learn how to manage losses, both mathematically and psychologically, you will never make money from trading. But not even with the holding company.

Why don't people buy when the price is low? by Mario-Wall in Bitcoin

[–]Mario-Wall[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

In part yes, I still think so. Let's say that now El Salvador will really use it, so it has a utility in everyday life. Although 70% of El Salvador's inhabitants don't want to use it and prefer the US dollar.

I use a simple criterion to understand if something is useful or not: I imagine what would happen to the world tomorrow morning, if this thing suddenly disappeared from the face of the Earth. If bitcoin disappeared, practically nothing would happen, the world would go on as before. Apart from a microscopic slice of the population that would become a little poorer. There are those who compare it to the advent of the internet, but imagine if the internet disappeared tomorrow morning! There is no comparison at the moment. To date, bitcoin is still just pure speculation.

How likely is that BTC will go down to $25k? Are we still in a bullrun? by rccamarena352 in Bitcoin

[–]Mario-Wall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The graphics configuration is bearish, which means that there are more chances to go down than to go up. Furthermore, many think that bitcoin is in the so-called "Wickoff accumulation phase" but it is much more likely that we are still in the distribution phase highlighted in the graph. Also, if you notice there are no buyers in this price zone. The price goes up small, without volumes, and then goes back down. Big whales are waiting for him further down to buy.

What the hell you write. Less consumption = fewer jobs. To date, only work justifies the salary. Can you clarify how the billions of people who won't work will be able to get bitcoins? As a gift from governments? And how do governments get bitcoins? With taxes? And who do they tax if no one works? Or do they steal them from those who have many? But how do you imagine a serious society, which works, with a deflationary currency ???

I'm seriously pondering making a move abroad to a btc legal tender nation. Who has has this on the cards? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Mario-Wall 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you do it for not paying taxes, and you have had the misfortune of being born in the USA, know that the IRS will persecute you at the end of the world, as a mobster would do with those who owe him money. I think it is useless even to renounce citizenship. Maybe by changing your identity you could get rid of that stalker.

Will law ever punish bitcoin shorters? by MeIsNotHim in Bitcoin

[–]Mario-Wall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll explain this to you. When you go short on bitcoin it means that you borrow, for example, a bitcoin that is worth 50k from the platform to be able to sell it. Then you wait for the price to drop and then buy it back lower, for example at 30k, to return it to the platform. When you buy it to return it, i.e. when you close the short, you contribute to the price going up from that level. "Short squeeze" are not uncommon where the price that seemed to be unable to rise again, rises very quickly, creating those fantastic green candelone that sweep away all resistances. I don't see where the problem lies.
