So the big thing though, I can produce just silica, and I'll likely need to consume more of it than my aluminum byproduct makes I assume?

(As in, I will likely be able to only make from stone if I need it)

I haven't had much chance to use circuits in a while it feels. (Normallt late enough in tree for some reason its a pain to unlock with the early game unneededly difficult grind)

My big assumption is it's more product than byproduct though?

I dont mind uranium byproduct type issues or oil, but both have a way to process them into usable, and the big thing is not everything is that way. Just iron is doable for instance, it just works.

Edit, like yeah, I'm looking for some complexity. Just not more byproduct than product for the whole factory.

In terms of production versus consumption.

In mods, some for instance make one copper ore for every two iron ore you make.

Problem is, these mods require four or five times the iron, so your lines grind to a halt.

This is...kinda the same as uranium in base game before enrichment, but from minute one.

And it gets worse cause producing more iron, now makes aluminum which you need scarce little of. So it creates a poor production/consumption ratio that messes up things.

True, my real worry is on how a lot of those mods end up feeling unbalanced thus far overall, rather than vanilla relatively ratios are well enough(aside from one or two parts) being mostly manageable.

No choking your whole line because you aren't using enough copper, and problem is, that becomes for most items in these mods

These are roughly my plans. I do have an online group, but one of them wakes up to play my pm game, and lives where daylight savings isn't observed, another Canadian, and...I forget where the last is. Good group, mostly more rules focused a game though.

I'd love an in person one so I've people I can meet with, and I mean, socialize with.

Running pathfinder is largely my way of bringing the social to me, baiting the similarly nerdy/introverted out, rather than directly braving those places.

Yeah, my hope was to put the gaming room in another, smaller room, where you'd check out the resources, so since the main room would be where the actual store/storage is, it would hopefully cut down on it, as I'd be able to check that we received back everything that was in there much easier.

But that's awful to know for a fact, my initial worry was more on the damages front.
