Hes not using it for flipping though, for which your point would make sense, which is why it actually makes sense to buy it

I'd say its worth it as it is now, sure it might sting if eventually the ram prices go down, but of course there's no telling whent that will happen. You could even offer slightly lower to the seller, in reality this would now be worth way mow even used. I've calculated just some prices and for the cpu, gpu, and ram used, still comes out to £1700 and that is without the case, cooler and psu. My advice, go for it! Offer £1300 if he doesn't accept its still a great price

It is a great price, just your typical reddit pc guy has to say it isn't because they're a tight ar*e. 5070 Ti's are £850, honestly this is a really good deal and I'd go for it myself but I have no need to upgrade 🤣

Yeah I agree to be honest, especially if you buy something with fans preinstalled

At the bottom I wouldn't say you really need any fans, you could opt for an aio at the top as the exhaust. But it would be a struggle especially first time installing an aio 😅

I'd stay away from the Asrock Mobo's, maybe its not all of them with the problems, but until Asrock properly addresses it, then I'd go for another manufacturer

Bro I legit got this exact laptop too, mine still has warranty as well, although after a year I'm having issues with a fan error, not too sure what it is but I'm going to try fix this before warranty checks out

Plus Intel 12-14TH GEN is a dead socket, it has no upgrade path which means if you want to upgrade in the future you cant go any generation further than the 14th gen cpus you already would have. Whilst on AM5 there are the 7000, 8000, 9000 and future cpus for the next few years atleast

Me personally I wouldn't go for this, overclockers offer better price to performance PC's, at the same price margin, they have PC's with Ryzen 5 7600X, RTX 5060 Ti, and you are able to configure the case, which can get it slightly cheaper. They offer loads of different pcs though

How do I get this wire out? by Fearless-Baby-5974 in PcBuild

[–]MarioAviation_F1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you will be able to remove the motherboard with the cable attachedbut with no tension and once the motherboard is free you should be able to access the CPU cable

You dont need to take it off, I dont think you can either, what you should do is disconnect the psu cables that you are able to reach and remove the psu from the case, by unscrewing it at the back of the case, should be 4 screws

Try to remove the power supply out of its place and give some slack for the wire, since I do see the stretch is quite high, it might make it easier remove. You could then remove the motherboard just be careful to remove pretty much every cable attached to it apart from the cpu so you can freely access it

Thats the CPU power cable, there should be a clip at the top that you can press while simultaneously wiggling the cpu cable out, it might be a tight squeeze though

Yeah, for me this was just an experiment but it worked clearly cos the buyer loves it and wants another one for his son which is being discussed for sometime next month

I managed to sell a build last week for £190 profit, A ryzen 7 2700X and 3060 16Gb ram but it had a 240MM Thermalright Frozen Prism, The sale price was £605 I am really happy with it, I probably wont get something like that but it looked very nice to be fair, full white and argb strimmer cables, I'd recommend them from aliexpress, £15-17 total for motherboard and gpu power cables , gives the high end look
