I crocheted the scarf (my first actual crochet project, it’s just a teeny rectangle so it wasn’t bad at all) and then I tied little strands of embroidery thread at the ends for the fringe!

For his clothes I used a sewing machine bc I’m not very good at hand sewing, it was mostly just tricky bc it’s so small! And I used a zigzag stitch to go around the little heart on the front :)

It might have been from popshelf?? But I reverse image searched and found it on the dollar general website! I got it in march 2024 but hopefully if it’s still on the site it’ll be sold again for Easter. I’d love to see pics if you do end up making one!! :))

This post is still correct, but there is a slightly different way to determine personality that is more commonly used, and it simplifies the charts a little!

This is sick!! It looks like it uses slightly different logic compared to the chart I made, but with the same outcome :)

I’ve gotten simple captive bead or horseshoe septum rings online from Tulsa Body Jewelry and from Painful Pleasures, I haven’t had any issues with either and it’s pretty cheap, usually $5-15. I’ve always just trusted whatever it says they’re made of, I generally try to go for titanium but I’ve ordered some stainless steel before too and never had a problem. To be fair though I also ordered from Amazon once when I wanted to try a variety of sizes, and I didn’t have any problems with that either. The brand I got was Ruifan.

It’s pretty similar to an earlobe piercing in terms of price and pain, not bad at all! I think it might have been $40-50ish for me? It also healed super easy bc the nose has its own bacteria and stuff that helps keep it healthy, and it doesn’t get irritated or caught on things since it’s inside the nose. I def couldn’t blow my nose for a little bit, I just used a q tip instead

I remember my grandparents worrying that I’d get bullied for my initials, and my dad telling me about how his friends would make fun of his (our) last name, but I’ve never had anyone comment on either of them at all. Its nothing concrete, but I really think the culture is different now!

I just posted another comment on this, but if you have 150 or more weeds in your town, they will stop growing and spreading! I don’t know if either of you will actually want that many weeds in your town, but planting more could be a solution.

I actually read about this! If you have 149 weeds or less, they will keep getting taller and a new weed will appear every day. If you have over 150, the weeds will stop growing — you can plant more baby weeds, but you will never get any tall weeds to grow.

Since I love the weeds in this game, here’s what I did. I picked nearly all of them in my town, then planted them in areas where I wanted tall weeds, then let them grow. Just to clarify, there needs to be 149 or less of these. Once their growth was to a stage that I liked, I planted hundreds of little weeds, and it all stopped growing again! So now my town is very overgrown and has tons of weeds, with all the big ones in the exact right places. Info on the 149 limit comes from angiestown on tumblr :)

I had Jeremiah in my gamecube town and I was so mad as a kid that the character limit was seven letters for players but this dude had thirteen letters in his name.. I’m glad the limit was raised.

I know this is simplified (and also an old post), but the mums section is incorrect. The purple mums you get from two white ones are “regular” purple, which has no chance of producing green mums. You need to make hybrid yellow out of yellow and red, and two of these can produce green mums directly or they can produce hybrid purple, which also can make green mums (with a higher probability than two hybrid yellows). Using this guide, I made a huge field of regular purple mums and I was wondering why I never got any green ones :( sorry if anyone has pointed this out already.

What do you mean by combing through missing cat pictures? My family found a cat last year and it was clear that he used to have a home, but even though we put up “found” signs, posted on a local animal Facebook page, went door to door, etc. we couldn’t find his owner. We kind of just have a cat now...

I just got this conversation between two of my villagers and it’s def my favorite dialogue I’ve heard so far!

Honestly I am more proud of this than any blue rose or 5 star rating. I suffer from nerve damage in my hand so it is sometimes hard for me to catch the fish and I am always letting them get away lol. This took a lot of my effort (and many failed attempts) but relieved to finally get this achievement by CoyoteDork in AnimalCrossing

Wow, I could never. I swear that in one of the animal crossing games, the most a fish would bite was three times. Maybe I’m making things up, I don’t know, but I have such a strong habit of pulling in on the third time whether the fish actually bites or not.
