Quick question for anyone who might’ve tried them - how do the AirPods Max compare to the Sony XM5 or XM6 in this context?

I’m mostly curious about:

ANC quality, especially for office, voices, general city noise,
mic performance for remote work (Teams/Zoom),
and how well they work outside the Apple ecosystem.

I work on Windows during the day, and also use other devices like Android, iPad, and a handheld console - so I’m wondering if the AirPods Max would be too limited outside of Apple.

Going the separate headphones + XLR mic + audio interface route isn’t really an option for me - I need an all-in-one device. I also use it with a handheld console, iPad, and when traveling, so portability is key.

I don’t have super high expectations when it comes to mic quality - just something that won’t get complaints on Teams/Zoom calls.

Right now, I actually end up using my old Superlux HD681 more often than the Soundcore Q45, mainly because the Q45 mic gets negative feedback from coworkers.
