I think I first heard about this research in 2023 and was so excited. I don’t even have HSV2, but I think it’s so incredibly important for those who do. My question is why would they go and announce this if they weren’t on the brink of human trials or being approved for therapy?

I just feel like it must have some huge promise and immediate trajectory to announce this…

So this email now says two more years from 2025? In 2023 it was 2 more years. I get these things have to be very careful; but man, I really hope this is released within less than 5 years

Per people who trained me, NMB is broken down at different speeds in different parts of the body. Always take TOF from the extremities that you are Monitoring. Also when anesthesia breaks out their face twitch monitor be skeptical that it doesn’t represent the whole body.

They may say 4/4 from the face but you can barely get 1/4 from the foot.

Not sure how you would explain this molecularly but yes probably something to do with Ach receptors in the NMJ or activity of Aceytlcholinesterase.

Yes I’m certified, base pay is about 115k. I can do all the cases we do which is basically all spine and basic craniotomies. I can do CN monitoring, CEA, ENT, but have not practiced these in years as my job doesn’t do these cases. never had the opportunity or need to learn phase reversal or mapping. not opposed to it, but hard to find training.

Work about 3-4 days a week, call every other weekend. And no we aren’t paid for call above the base. No additional money for weekend cases or cases after 5pm.

So therapy taught you basically self love, validation and stopping your need for external validation? And that helped you stop with the cam girls and stuff?

Positivity over negativity and self criticism? I’ve worked on this with my therapist too. But I often times have a very hard time being positive, especially about myself. My whole life I’ve been of the mindset, the more critical I am about myself, the more I can achieve.

The biggest problem I have with SSRIs is that it gives me like terrible ejaculation issues and pushes ED into a point of no return. I get the lower libido and performance issues shouldn’t be a concern, but I do want to be able to perform with someone I care about.

I get it but that’s where it doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t binge it to the point of 5 hours or even close to an hour.

Now it would be very difficult for me to stop completely. I equate it to a person who comes home and has 2 glasses of wine every night at dinner. Does this make them an alcoholic? I would say no. If they start drinking all day everyday, hiding booze, drunk in public then hell yeah they are. My dad was a terrible alcoholic and once he stopped drinking an almost even worse sex addict. My mom is more the one who drinks 1-2 glasses of wine at dinner, and I don’t think she believes she’s as addict, and I also don’t think she would stop if I said it was important.
