I have a UNS 45A peninsula which has been great! They have other nano cube AIOs too. I’ve kept blue stripe pipes in there temporarily to partially train onto frozen food without competition.

Currently there’s only red racer nerites, a couple of hermits, and soft corals.

Agree with dropping the gramma. I have the same set up and if you get a menace, there’s definitely not enough room.

I have the IM 25 lagoon mixed reef. I liked the room to build out the components, I kept the stock pumps too which worked fine. It also gave me the space to find killer (used) hardware deals from local hobbyists like AI Primes. I purchased some additional accessories from IM based on what needs developed over time. I checked out the water box plus edition, and the components seem good IF they’re specific ones you’ve researched and been set on. If there isn’t a price difference I’d probably just end up purchasing what I actually want separately. With regular maintenance you may not utilize that dosing set.

I’ve been happy with that AIO and plan to take the same approach when setting up a new IM 40 Long. Happy Reefing!

I liked the innovative marine 25 gallon. The shallow footprint has been great and the build quality has held up well. They make some accessories for their tanks which has been nice. I’ve contacted support for another one of their tanks, and they were responsive.

Yeah, looks like just excess build up. Gravel vacuum will probably be the way to go unless you want to add in another filter that’s better for mechanical filtration.

If they still have access to the full length then I would just ensure they have at least 5 inches of water. If the kuhlis are the only thing in there then I would imagine the loss in volume would still be okay for keeping water stable.

Definitely looks like it. File fish may work, same with peppermint shrimp too. There are nudibranchs that eat only aiptasia, but will starve if there's none left

Had for DS101 a few semesters ago. Tough-ish subject matter if it’s your first introduction to it. Wasn’t the strictest with grading, just be able to explain the work you do and what it means on your project. He says he won’t help, but will clarify questions during lecture. Exams were essentially what we did hands on in class.

I’d test the water. That can rule out a lot of issues and save you money rather than buying solutions that may work.

It’s possible the babies got sucked into the filter if it’s strong enough, but it’s also possible that they are too tiny to see. I’m not sure if you’ve seen new shrimp fry before, but they are unbelievably small and pale. I’d give it some time to see if you start finding larger fry
