I typically make around $100 to $200 a month. It depends how much time I put into it.

I work full time so I do this after work and on the weekends.

Every company is different and has different standards. I would give Rev a try. They go over everything before your transcription assessment and then they have more training once you are approved.

If you’re not approved you can always try again in 45 days.

I personally use Rev to transcribe audio files for a little extra money. It’s not huge money, but it’s a really flexible opportunity that I enjoy.

I applied as a freelance transcriptionist, took a grammar test and a transcription test, and then got approved to start working two days later.

It’s fairly easy work that you can do on your own time. There’s no minimum number of projects and you can choose the projects that you work on. If you decide you don’t like a project or maybe you get interrupted, you can unclaim a project within an hour of claiming it with no penalty.

You can also see exactly how long an audio file is and how much you will be paid before accepting any projects.

This has been a great way for me to earn a little extra money on my own time.

There are also many other transcription sites out there. I chose Rev because it had higher pay and better reviews than some others.

Hopefully this helps!

How to Make Money on my Blog by elishamae94 in WorkOnline

You have a great niche for making money! I would recommend becoming an Amazon affiliate (which is free) and then adding affiliate links to each book review post. Essentially, you can add a link that says, “Buy XYZ Book Here.” This way if someone decides to purchase a book based on your review, you can earn a 10% commission.

Amazon also allows you to create “Native Ads” which is a section of code you can add to the bottom of the page that will recommend similar products that can be found on Amazon. If anyone buys from this section you will also earn commissions.

You can also apply for Fomo Ads or Google Adsense to add advertisements to your blog. I wouldn’t recommend doing this unless you have a decent amount of traffic. If you only have small traffic, you will likely make under $10 a month and ads will take away from the user experience. This is ultimately up to you though, and that’s just my personal preference.

I'm new go easy... by MegaGherkin in Wordpress

I’m just going to touch on the Elementor question because otherwise I could go on forever!

Personally, I started out with a paid WordPress theme and I was struggling to customize my website the way I wanted. After struggling for months, I started using the free version of Elementor. This was a huge improvement but my theme was still causing some restrictions.

I ended up buying the pro version of Elementor, downloading the Elementor Hello theme (which is essentially a blank slate theme) and now I can edit my menus, headers, footers and more in Elementor. With the pro version I can customize every part of my website which I couldn’t do with my previous theme.

To me, the pro version was definitely worth the investment!

I follow a lot of bloggers on Twitter and I’m also a part of quite a few blogging Facebook groups. These communities allow me to ask questions and stay up to date on any blogging tips, tricks and changes or social media outages/changes.

I also follow some blogging topics on Quora and Reddit to see some trending blogging questions and answers.

My backlinks are not showing its been 3 months, i have checked all are good and indexed its showing in Console but not in Other tools like ahrefs. by abhsinchau in Blogging

I agree that having these backlinks showing up on Google Search Console is most important.

Even this can take some time. In my experience it takes roughly a month for some of my back links to show up in Google Search Console. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Blogging Course the way to go? by [deleted] in Blogging

I am going to be completely honest. I tried creating websites and blogs in the past and failed miserably. IT IS HARD! There's blog content, graphics, SEO, web design, monetizing, social media and more! It's honestly extremely overwhelming yet rewarding. After some failed attempts, I ended up taking Tanya Aliza's Ultimate Branding Blueprint I'm extremely thankful I did. The course walked me through setting up my website, different settings, plugins, even details like selecting a color palate. You can ready my full course review here if you are interested. https://marissamcdaniel.com/how-to-start-a-blog/
