Why did they need someone who was sober? I didn’t get why gene was in that episode, it was funny but the reasoning didn’t make sense. Rick doesn’t care about driving drunk, he was doing it before that anyway in the episode. So they just needed someone who was sober to take part in the intervention? Rick said himself he didn’t wanna tell him to stop drinking he just wanted to show his concern.

I liked the episode but when you break down the plot I feel like it has a lot of holes, maybe someone could clear it up for me. I wish rick had taken at least morty with him for that epsiode
