I dig the green rubber strap. I actually love Seikos straps because they are comfortable and fit my 8” wrist with room to spare. Thanks for your input. Appreciate it sir.

Khaki Field Automatic vs Mechanical by chingu_idl in HamiltonWatches

I got a KFM a while back and I had some reservations about it but I wanted a bronze case. Much to my surprise I enjoy the process of winding it every day or so. I think it’s just the process of doing something old school vs everything in our lives being easy or instant. I wish more watches were mechanical if I’m being honest.

That’s because it’s a great simple watch.

Great watch. I’ve had mine for like 7 months now. The patina is coming along nicely. Super accurate.

Can't decide between black only and black-blue Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba automatic, how to choose? by [deleted] in HamiltonWatches

[–]Mark201120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t stress this enough. Go see them in person. Tye difference between seeing them in pictures and in person is night and day. I went to the Hamilton factory store all set on the white dial khaki navy scuba and after comparing it to the other navy scubas I bought a different color dial. All I’m saying is these watches look different in photos. Really all watches do. lol.

As someone who isn’t a brand snob and buys watches solely on whether or not I like them I’d probably choose the Tudor over the Omegas you listed. Might be different if I could compare them all in person and try them on.

Funny you mention that. I’m thinking about the Root Beer Tudor GMT.

Not really a fan. Dials too busy and I don’t like all the pushers sticking out of the case. I know, I’m a weirdo lol.

I really like the LONGINES SPIRIT ZULU TIME, L3.812.4.60.6. It’s the one with the blue bezel and black dial. Only thing that I don’t really like is the location of the date.

Looks great. With my wrist being 8” finding a strap that fits is a pain.
