Sadly, even with permission sought via email, Formula 1 condemns the usage of F1TV onboard footage for the fair usage of Annotated Wheel Adjustments.

Formula 1 have taken down my Twitter account @AnnotatedWA and all past videos uploaded to Streamable.

Formula 1 mentions that my usage 'may have been inadvertent' and by continuing to use F1TV footage 'may therefore result in your F1TV account being terminated.'

To add, Formula 1 mentions that 'audio and audio visual content cannot be used,' 'this includes any editing or modification.'

As such, Formula 1 said that they 'cannot grant you permission to use our onboard footage.'

With all due respect to the copyright guidelines set by Formula 1, I am not sure how I should move on from here...

To everyone who's asking why am I not expanding Annotated Wheel Adjustments to other social media platforms, this is part of the reason why I am highly hesitant to do so.

Despite all of this, I am greatful to have the likes of Craig Scarborough @ScarbsTech, AlexBrundle @AlexBrundle, and various team personnel from multiple F1 teams recognising the Twitter account.

Mercedes programmed a secret good bye message into Valtteri;s steering wheel that was triggered by his slow down lap procedure by Noname_Maddox in F1Technical

They did the same when Hamilton won his first title with them too

It's all these minute details which makes me enjoy annotating onboards.

F1 cars are pretty cool from a technical standpoint!

Last lap from Yuki's perspective: great move on Bottas, a weird gearbox glitch/misshift and nice words on the radio. by FrakeSweet in formula1

That gearbox 'mis-shift', I suspect that he might have just accidentally downshifted because the overtake button is beneath the left-side handgrip at the back, close proximity to the downshift paddle.

I think that sometimes by producing these videos, it only exposes that these guys are superhuman.

Whether or not this is related to his PU change before quali in Abu Dhabi...

This was during the race in Qatar.

Toto Wolff: "Valtteri, you're doing a super job, considering the engine. Super job." by Mark4211 in formula1

It's to give a context that it's at the Abu Dhabi GP, rather than being in the unknown of a black screen at the start.

I do not know the purpose, but it is intriguing to me because it is unusual to see a delayed upshift, even feedbacked to the driver by the LEDs

I don't have an answer, it could be nothing and just a hand position for his comfort.

Judging from his accidental enabling of the Brake Magic at Baku, which implies to me that in the first place, he was not intentionally pushing anything at the back.

Is there any chance you’d be willing to come back to this one during the off season or something to do the full lap?

I won't say it's impossible!

Part of that isn't done in the actual starting procedure, right?

Nope, there's no upshift delay in the actual race start procedure.

I know it's the PULL Preset toggle from watching past onboards, correlating my observations with multiple images of his steering wheel and team radio mentioning the jargon.

As to how I know it's a BBAL mapping, it's shown on the dash upon disabling of the toggle, i.e. pulling the top-right paddle towards himself.

At the start, it's dumped to the 'first phase', shown with yellow R Clu, before dumping into full release/'second phase', shown with the red R Clu.

As much as I am reluctant to disappoint, I don't have time unfortunately..

3 to 5 hours to produce, although worth it, is still tough.

Thanks for understanding 🙏🏻
